the sundial
orange in the light

a heart’s arrow–
on the Gum tree
on the river

snow bound
the windowsill’s
white kittens

wind
the beach party
leaves together

web
a moth starts
its future as a spider

down any mine too
–I should expect–
a heart’s name

sleep-out
Mum brings to the lawn
a spread of blankets

Indian summer
timed out
on the sundial

hearing geese–
who honks loudest
leads home
