the scarecrow with the wind

in his long red coat

First light

the Gum trees measuring

one inch- two inch- three inch four

Winter storm

night collects

behind father‘s urn

In baby

the joy of a sigh

suckling my breast

Mother‘s visit

suggesting new colours

she touches every wall

Out of the windstorm

whistling

from the cave‘s mouth

Mountain eaglet

it dawns on her

this urge to fly

Waterfront cafe‘

drawing to the horizon

both full moons

Sea waves

until one rises

merely the shapes of singing whales

Neighbour‘s terrier

half inside the rat hole

..for its young
