returning to rock pools
the full moon tide.

Antiques shop
only the blemish thrives
behind mirrors.

Rear-view mirror
re-joining the stars
the last small town.

A second earthquake …
the mirror crisscrossed
from crack to crack.

From the mirror
starlight returns
beginning its journey again.

Lake mirror
how the stallion guards
the mare’s drinking.

In the mirror
white rose above the thorn
with a spot of blood.

Lake mirror
a frog leaps into
the face of the moon
