So gentle
the faint sea echoes
of the conch-shell’s ear.

The campfire glows
her birth stars pointed out
along my arm.

Midnight clouds
a moon spot
steps off shore.

Wife’s garden
in her straw basket
our dinner picked herbs.

Leaves litter
the wind and I rake
against each other.

Another fire fly
circling in the dusk
around us.

Cat-walk music
the out-rush of models
in the role clothes play.

Camp fire
making my grotesques
dance with its light.

Rolling on home
eyes closed in the train seats
with the moon.

One star
the guide geese find
for the journey.
