back of a crow

Mum’s table
the sandpapered camphor
exudes its scent

the will
in pollen
creation

sweat on my face
the re-varnished
oak table top

river breezes
drawing the willows
on Laurel’s face

first day home
in sweetening breaths
the lemon Gum trees
